When the hood is up like in the picture below all is good. But when i go to close the hood the bottom edge of the hood hits the top portion of the bumper. (yellow circle in middle)

Also the strut piston hits the ACS T3 port on the side of the hood causing the hood to push up when its closed. Thats why i had to take the rods out when ever i closed the hood. This rideskinz bumper is all handlaid fiberglass so its not exactly the same as the factory bumper. So the rideskinz bumper its a big larger in that front area.

So we raised the hood hinge to clear the front bumper, But that created a large gap between the hood and the bumper. I could stick my fingers in the gap and touch under the hood. And the circles indicate where the hood rods push up on the hood.

This kit worked fine when i had stock hood and bumper....but i had to go changing things that were not meant to be there.!!

Thanks bud, The only way i can fix the gaps is to go back to the stock hinges. I have to lose the reverse hinge.

Wish there was bud...but we just cant get it to look right. We can get it to work fine. however im left with the hood lines higher and a large gap. Only way to fix that is to re glass the top of the bumper and repaint and thats not going to happen either.

Instead of being known for the reverse hood ill be known for the only one in the eastern coast with the Rideskinz front end

Plus ill still have my custom hood, just will open normal, not reverse.
