Retrofit projectors

I got the H1 complete retrofit kit with "eagle eyes" from TheRetrofitSource for Christmas! And boy- it is worth the hard work. However, my driver side project cutoff is crooked. (Like this: \ instead of _) My passenger side is good. I know some of y'all have put these in, and I am looking for some help! I need to adjust the projector inside, and I really don't want to take off the bumper and headlight again! So any help will be appreciated! I am on my phone so I will try to get some pics uploaded soon. I will post some pics tomorrow

The headlight is not aligned correctly. I know this sounds crazy, but try pulling up to about 5 feet from a wall and adjusting the headlights so that they are straight (with the lights on of course). Have had to do this a few times with other cars I've had.

I have done what you have said. And that adjuster is a torx screw that moves the cut-off line up and down. I am wanting to rotate or adjust the line a few degrees so it is parallel to the ground.

I have not messed with mine yet so I'm not too sure how the headlights are mounted, but that that the only place that the headlight is mounted? Are there bolts holding it on? If so, try removing the entire headlight and remount them til you are satisfied.

I had a halogen bulb, chrome housing. I then got a retrofit (www.theretrofitsource.com), which is this. What I was trying to say was how do you fix the rotation?

You want to shoot austinjames or caverman a PM. They'd be the most likely to be able to help you on the alignment issue.

Simple, the left headlight needs rotation. So unscrew the three screws just enough so that you can gently rotate the projector to where u want it. And then screw them back in. Easy as pie

All you need to do is rotate the projector..Looking at the projector from the back of the headlight you should see three metal tabs wraping around the projector..Use a screwdriver to slowly twist the projector to straighten it out..Thts what I did and it worked perfectly..

I forgot to update y'all, but I got it fixed. I ended up taking out the bulb, and undoing the three screws and simply turning the projector. It worked out, I won't blind people, but I still need to tweak it.
