Probably traded his Z for a C7 in hopes that it has less moving parts like in the 70's

I read my manual and couldn't find, or maybe I missed the part about the daytime running lights that won't come on at night.
So I can understand people having a hard time playing with light switches trying to make lights come on.
I swear they were on earlier, but now I can't get the dam things to work!
Maybe the dealer should explain the daytime concept in the daytime
Running lights.
So now, there a bunch of scammers making money selling kits to make your daytime lights stay on at night.
I spent 7.00 on wire crimp connectors and used two one ft pieces of speaker wire.
That's all it took.
I'm sure the instructions are on here somewhere

Those apparently are just the driving lights and come on when you put the car in gear.

As for that last A** H**** that asked if I could handle 580 HP. I was handling that much HP in 1970, where were you then??? How about can you handle your own custom wheel disributorship for 16 years and 7 figures in the bank? How about $7K+ for your tires and wheels??? Handle that? How about a $210K+ Hummer H1 Predator Motorsports conversion just because your wife likes H1's?????

My wife doesn't even think this car is fast, just way too heavy. Of course she rides a Ducati 1098S 8 month a year. A little difference between 4000+ lbs and 375 lbs.
Am I sensing sensitivity?

sometimes I am guilty of asking a question on this site for a quick answer vs. combing through eh owners manual. I think some of the responses even though some were helpful were kind of harsh.

PS, I don't make quite as much money as he does, but I did stay at a holiday inn a few years ago.

It wasn't the question as much the response, we were being helpful if he was having an issue with a few good intentioned ribbings then maybe he shouldn't be here.
