18,500 miles. My average is 28.5MPH. That recently went up since I just did two long highway drives last month.

I'm at 33.2, never been reset, and I've put 15,000 on her for the seven months I've had her. My mpg is 21.1 with about 60%hw/40% small town city driving.

28.5 about 1,200 miles ... I do a lot of in-town driving, but once in a while I do take a long winding back road with room to play, on my way home. I'll bet if I take that road more often, that number will go up quite a bit MPG is at 15 =/

Yeah, I am actually a bit worried about it. Granted, it's mostly city driving; only around 200 highway miles (out of 1,200). However, I averaged about 20 MPG in my 2011 1SS driving the same routes. I have been chalking it up to 'break-in' mileage, but maybe I'm fooling myself. I don't think I drive my new one any harder than my 2011.
It has also been an extremely hot summer here in Alaska. 80's to mid 90's all month so far (that is HOT for us), so I have actually had to run the AC full-time. Does that have a huge effect on fuel economy? |

My average was 70.3 after a long road trip from Oregon to SE Texas once, only stopping for gas. If you idle a lot or sit at long lights in traffic you will have lower averages than the guy that is on the freeway more.
Someone needs to reset their average, do a run on a mile strip and post an average of 125. Would make a neat photo for the mancave?
