By God you're right, I searched through the site and it HAS been mentioned before. And here I was thinking I was the first. Boy is my face red...

Jokes aside, I knew some butthurt user would snap reply to my post with some weird critique.

Ya there is always somebody thinking they are trendsetters in the comments that are about 3 years to late. Work on your game and humour....both need it.

6th Gen, great car. No personality and no character, really does look like every other car. I may buy another 6the Gen or 7th, but the 5th will always stay with me..

My 2014 SS 1LE was a great car , my 2010 SS L99 was not , it was nice that GM included the L99 to play along with the LS3 but that was it . One thing about most of the Gen 5 owners is the fact they were never around for a new generation before and the increase of the cost scared them off the Gen 6, i believe from what i have seen most Gen 5 owners are one and done.

My 2001 blazer has personality and character my 2018 1LE don't need it . I do wish i could have kept my 2014 1LE but just didn't work for future plans .

The Camaro should have gotten an automatic LS3 just like the Corvette. Another poor decision by GM.

I want the ZL1 1LE, it looks ridiculous but I don't care. Too spendy though.

Rather put a little money into my '13 and enjoy it, heavy and slow though it is compared to the new stuff.

I don't mind the look of the Gen6, still a cool looking car - I do prefer Gen 5 design. I like Mustangs too, I'm weird like that.

You're not alone I like Mustangs too. I like the new Mustang a lot more looks wise than the 6th Gen Camaro. If I was buying right now it would be Mustang for sure.

Yes I wish my 5th was faster sometimes & handled tighter but that isn't a big deal either. I still love its classic look after over 5 years of owning it & don't have an itch to upgrade yet. Given how the Gen6 is nearing into the price range of the Vette I would go that route if anything first.

I prefer the look of the 5th gen even though I think the 6th is a sweet looking ride as well (16-18). I do feel more comfortable in the slightly larger interior and it just more usable as a car. It also seems to be better built and more solid, like an intangible quality like an old Benz.
That being said if something happened to my '15 i would take a long hard look at a 6th gen ZL1

I'm 61. At the moment, my plan is to just keep my 'last of the 5th Gen' and bury me in it. Look at what I'll save on a coffin.

At 49 ive been around for all kinds ..driven many and am not afraid of the cost. And im not sure how you think you know what 5th gen owners do and dont do. There are a ton of 5th gen guys coming from older gens.
