It's hilarious how people wanna lecture someone on obeying the law and not complaining when you get a ticket, yet countless people on here make posts about "got a ticket for speeding"...speeding is an obvious law that ALL of you's break everyday, and MUCH more dangerous than someone's halos being blue lol!!!

I fully believe in following the law, but I also know I break it, my cars too loud, my brake lights are tinted and I have no front plate, I will just pay the ticket and not whine anou lt getting one.

Yes it's against the law to have red or blue lights on the front of your car. Everyone agrees with this including myself. But it doesn't mean it makes much since. They are allot of laws out there that is dumb and crazy but it's still there and it's the law. For example, In Indianapolis is is illegal to ride a horse on the street faster then 10mph. In Kentucky a female shall not appear in a bathing suit on any highway. In Maryland it's illegal to take a lion to the movies. In Ohio it's illegal to run out of gas. In Wisconsin it's illegal to spit on the sidewalk when it's adjoining a public building or street. For all of US it's unlawful to fake a weather forecast. There a hundreds of similar laws in all states and most of of you have broken them including myself. My point is that some laws are very outdated or needs to be more defined. So for a law stating no red or blue lights is very vague. It's obvious that if you have blue or red angle eyes or led's somewhere else on the front it's for cosmetic looks only and not intended for a emergency vehicles. If I saw a red or blue light in my rear view mirror that is not flashing I would not pull over knowing darn well the lights would be flashing. Now if your lights are flashing then is a whole different ball game. That is my honest opinion.

Why do you feel it makes no sense that the law re: the color of the lights exists?

The law should state no flashing red or blue lights. I know police, fire ambulance uses red and blue but they are FLASHING!!!!! Not steady on like angle eyes or anything you want that's for looks only. If they are flashing yes that's wrong

And this is the root cause - you base your attitudes on the fact that you, personally, see no problem. You disagree with that law. I disagree with plenty of laws. But that doesn't make me immune to them. I also understand why the laws I disagree with state what they state: I go and find out why they are like that.

I think that the only reason you can't do an incredibly large amount of things is that its against the law.

There are many laws people break all the time, the problem is when they get caught and they decide to start a thread about it. I say if you get caught you have two choices. Pay the fine or fight it in court. There is really no need to get into a big argument online about if its a good law or not.
