Midnight SS/RS Rims vs. Polished upgrade

I'm looking for a comparison between the standard SS/RS rims (20" midnight) and the upgraded polished rims. Can anyone post pics of the two? I'd really like to see the difference. The only thing I can recall seeing about the midnight ones are questions like "are those the midnight rims??" but no definite pictures. Unless I just missed it somehow

Thanks in advance!

Go to this thread to see the differences.

See the post by Rolnslo...

Go to this thread to see a real life shot outdoors on the same color car. The biggest difference you can see is the 2nd car - RJT Camaro has Midnight, while the 3rd car - RJT Camaro has either the Sterling Silver or the Polished but either way these two will be brighter than the Midnight so it should be close enough to make a decision, I hope. Good luck!

I have not seen any pictures that show Midnight Silver wheels as they look in person. I took a picture of the Midnight Silver RS wheels you can see in post #53 of this thread. http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=12145 but as I said before, the picture is not quite as dark as the wheels are in person. Very classy wheels.

No pix of polished wheels - sorry.

I'd say that this is pretty accurate for the Midnight finish, personally...

I was at daytona today and saw the midnight silver wheels on the pace car . I liked them so much that when I left I drove straight to the dealership and changed my order from the polished wheels. Pictures just can't do them justice.

The below link will show both midnight silver on the front and polished on the rear of the Ft Worth Jewel Mint Camaro.

I know I said it in the other thread, too, but to make sure we're clear, I'm next to positive you've got them backwards. The rear wheels seem to be the Midnight Silver and the front wheels look polished.

Polished is up front. MN Silver on rear.

I would like to know people's opinion on this as well. Can someone photoshop a picture of the ABM with both types of wheels?

I know...but it would make my decision easier if I could see a photoshop of it. I'm sure it will look awesome either way.

Always glad to share my opinion when asked. I'm sure the MN Silver looks great up close and when clean but here's my issue with it and why I decided to steer clear. I cannot stand the look of dirty wheels covered in break dust, so to me, that is what my mind's eye sees every time I see photos of those wheels. Unless you are up close and can see the finish, it looks like you might have washed the car but never the wheels. JMO though. Check out this pic below to illustrate. The 2nd car = RJT Cam has MN Silver and the 3rd car = RJT Cam but has either Sterling Silver or Polished wheels which is neither here nor there because both are brighter than the MN Silver and still illustrates the point. Hope I didn't offend anyone but just sharing my opinion and providing useful info I think.
