Avoid Maryland speed

Avoid ordering from Maryland Speed if you actually need your parts.

Ordered some BTR valve springs and retainers Nov 28th. Sent a email on 12-10 asking for an update. Supposed to go out that week. 12-21 still no tracking number.

Before you waste your time ordering from these guys, do a Google search. You'll see this is how they normally operate.

Just curious, did you order those parts under their "discount" that comes with the disclaimer that says they have no idea when you'll see your parts, or did you just order at the normal price expecting to see your parts in a normal timeframe?

" We have no idea when and even if you will get your parts ,HOWEVER, we will happily take your money, make numerous delivery time frame promises and make it nearly impossible to get a refund" Did I miss anything ?

It was the Black Friday deal we ran. Will contact customer today and resolve. Should have shipped, but we were backed up with uploading tracking yesterday because of pushing stuff out for the holiday.

Exactly, I think as a customer you should always ask if the item is in stock and ready to ship. If you need the part and they say NO then move on the next vendor who has it.
Lesson learned I guess.

This is why I rarely ever use a third party. Call BTR, they will treat you right.

Only after customer outed them did he get his parts. Still poor customer service. Sometimes it pays to pay a tad bit more to lessen a headache. That's why I order 99% of my stuff from Jeg's, Summit Racing or directly from the manufacturer or at least call the manufacturer and ask them who's one of their preferred vendors.

I've been waiting for over 4.5 months for an exhaust... I have an email stating 4-6 weeks from when the my order was processed. I even expected 8 weeks, after that I call "we will check on it and send an email with an update" she says...days go by no email with said update.... I now call twice a week to see whats the hold up...still waiting...I had called Brandon, he said "I'll get it to you before Christmas" I calmly say "I don't need before Christmas, I needed it before Halloween."

Customer relations its huge in todays markets....big, small or even family owned. The customer is what lines the pockets of who they employ, feeds the kids the they have.

The above is not my opinion... its my personal experience. I have been very polite, respectful and patient. However I have lost more money then the savings on the "discount" waiting this long. I don't care if you spend $10 bucks or $10 g's everyones money is still hard earned to them. Its great he takes time out of his day to come on a forum read the comments and tries to help said person.

I'm waiting for his call back, yet again because he is working remotely....as I type this again. Sad thing is, this was my very first purchase from Maryland Speed...

Wish I had seen this before I got burned by them also... Ordered part right after Thanksgiving and haven't received it yet. Contacted them several times via email and kept getting bs responses. The latest is that the manufactor discontinued the part so they had to find a wholesaler. Supposedly just got part in. I'm still waiting on a shipping confirmation

Read a lot of great things....I do wish I could get my money back and reach out to Steve.

I may also reach out to the vendor of my part to see if the order has even been sent in. I will go from there at that point.

Also its 6:34 pm EST and I haven't received a call yet from Brandon, good thing I didnt hold my breath
