Polished wheels not available on a 2SS RS

found out today that on a 2SS you cant get polished wheels AND the RS package... :(

the RS package will have painted wheels and cant be upgraded to polished ones....

oh well... i guess you cant have everything... guess I'll have to wait for someone to make some aftermarket 21" and 22" polished ones...

and now wait begins............................................ ........................

wait until monday. The ordering site doesn't go online until then.I don't know how these people are entering anything yet. They are optional and you will be able to get them. Leave it like it is for now and have your dealer change it next week.

i would like to know where you went also. any mark up? my first choice was going to be the dealership on ala moana blvd. but if they are going to charge a mark up i'm considering going out to kaneohe. i have a friend that may be able to get me a deal.

+1

This is the problem with people jumping the gun and thinking they are already in the system. It's not live yet so all of the features may not be working. I don't doubt that there will be bugs in the system at first, but let's see how Monday works out.

on the IDL broadcast, they specifically stated that you would be able to upgrade to the Polished Wheels and get the RS package on the 2SS... wait until Monday and then go back to your dealership and change the order... if that's what you want... if what you want is the 1SS, then you're set to go... but the online order system wont be complete until Monday, so you're not going to be able to check all of the boxes until then.

on Friday, at the IDL broadcast, my dealership's sales manager was trying to build one of the cars and they were updating the system with the information during the IDL... the further into the IDL they went, the more "options" became available... my guess is that there's a ton of information and they didn't want to have to batch load it in and then have some options not work, so they were uploading a little bit at a time all the way until Monday.

The system is already open. I ordered my 2SS yesterday. Autobook workbench accepted the order, gave me the six digit confirmation and also a four page summary of all options orders. The WRS RS exterior package comes with midnight silver painted wheels.

I did not order the RS package.
