That's correct. In Texas, if there isn't a posted speed limit, it is 30 mph.

as much as i hate to say it.. SRT4 would probably win, unless the driver is very inexperienced. My old man has a corvette C6 and the SRT4 kept up with it pretty well and all it had was a manual boost controller set at 7PSI.

I had a caliber with some Stage II kit, tune, etc. go at it with me. I pulled away...but not as fast as I would have liked!

They can definitely be monsters. They don't need to be at our HP level due to their gigantic weight advantage.

Just make sure you run them at the strip from a stop, some can't hook for a damn.

we have srt-4's that run 6.90-7.5 in the 1/8th at the track with dr's. they can hang with REAL cars if built to. there is a youtube out there somewhere of a str-4 hanging with a KB terminator.

and killing one....

The giant turbos just keep pulling...and pulling...and pulling!

Not to mention aren't their blocks good for about 500 whp?

Must not be tuned or something. Even the little 50 trim's have gone somewhere in the range of 11.2's.

srt wins

I have had both and I would agree stock to stock the srt wins. I warmed mine over as most did, mine made 267hp and 304ftlbs at the wheels and c5s weren't out of the question. Very quick car.
