Here's is a little comparison shot of what the difference in clearance is on the inner wheelwell AFTER they were modified between the 275 and the 345.
You can figure out which picture is which tire...

You'll also notice that the top pic was the "raw" mini-tub and the bottom pic is the "finished" version. It is sealed and coated. These shots are still with the stock suspension components.

I agree. I think you could have squeezed a set of 355s in there. And 355 is such a nice number...

Actually, those look amazing. I'm thinking the ebrake line being in the way was not a big issue for you!

In the Aviation world we call it F.O.D. Foreign Object Damage...

Quote:
Aviation Dictionary: foreign-object damage

Damage caused to an engine by a foreign object (i.e., objects not belonging to the engine). The damage is caused by items like rags, pieces of paper, line, articles of clothing, nuts, bolts, stones, or tools misplaced or caught by air currents normally found around aircraft operations (jet blast, rotor or prop wash, engine intake). This damage can be in the form of nicks, cuts, tears, and even fractures of components, especially rotor and turbine blades.
In SST's case you and any one in the general area at time of WOT would become FOD...

Just for that we are going to send you a set of complimentary 155's to put on the back of your car. Slight traction problem, but great possibility for increased mileage...

Beat down by a moderator...

I think TAG's car needs a 355 on the driver's side and a 245 on the passenger side. Mrs. TAG weighs less. Then the car will ride level...

Looking forward to seeing SST in person. Although I might have to leave my car at home...it would leave feeling horribly inadequate....
