"the world's first" is a BOLD statement and not quite accurate as GM already makes a wind restrictor for the 5th gen. (although I doubt anyone has actually seen one in person yet). Perhaps you mean the world's first "aftermarket" 5th gen. wind restrictor? Plus, how do you know someone in Europe hasn't made one yet for the 5th gen. (I'm waxing semantics - I'm bored).

Wind Restrictor (http://www.WindRestrictor.com) is a company here i Garland Texas (hence why both words are capitalized). This is the first one they have made for a 5th gen.
The GM one is called a wind screen, not the same thing.

The one on the Vette is pretty sweet. How about some pics of the one on the Camaro?

I have the GM windscreen and it is working great.

it's cutting the wind draft by about 90 %.

I tested it at 120 mph and not issues, stays solid in place.

When the nights are cooler, it's a must.

Probably the best option for the vert.

I actually ordered the GM one but canceled the order when i figured I didn't want to have to dismantle it every time i had people in the rear.

BTW Wind Restrictor is licenced by GM, so they aren't just any after market company.

Are the graphics etched onto the windscreen for the Camaro available yet? I'm hoping there will be a nice SS available (I think that's an obvious one) but I would like the SS to be in red to match the other SS logos on the car. Also my car is red (RJT actually) so I think the red SS would look good.

I understand they've been very difficult to get hold of. From what pics I've seen, it looks great but, unfortunately, it eliminates the ability for backseat passengers.

I stand corrected. I am familiar with windrestrictor.com. I was looking at adding one to my Saturn Sky Redline but didn't see the point. They're big into the Pontiac Solctices (Solcti?) and Skys.
