Here's our schedule :
June 25th- Spokane
June 26th-Spokane - Billings MT
June 27th Billings MT - Sturgis
June 30th depart Sturgis.
(We are going to Boise on the 30th and then head home on July 1st. )
We would love to have you along!

My impression was that we'd get to Billings on the 26th, and make it to Sturgis on the 27th...

Forged you are right. 26th Spokane to billings and then to sturgis on the 27th

My wife and I booked our rooms for Spokane,Billings, and Sturgis. Can't wait to hit the road. Looks like we will be heading out wih everyone in the group from Spokane. Where is everyone staying on the return trip?

I am so bummed we don't get to drive over with everyone...... Won't get out of boise till 6pm, so gonna just have to head to Sturgis. Can't wait to meet everyone!!!

We booked a room for 3 days 15 miles out of Sturgis, paid the same price there as one night at a holiday inn in Sturgis. Google "sturgis sd lodging" and see what comes up. We'd love for you to join us!

A lot of the bikers do a lot of primitive camping, but there are thousands of motel rooms within about 30 miles. Sturgis is about 14 miles from Deadwood (which is currently known for its casinos which feature slot machines, black jack, and poker), 16 miles from Spearfish (which has numerous chain and franchise motels), and about 25 to 30 miles from thousands of motel rooms in Rapid City (which is the largest city in western South Dakota). If you are too late to get a room in Sturgis, there are plenty of opportunities if you drive a few miles. Isn't that why we all have Camaros?

For anyone military, we booked at the Days Inn right across the street from the host hotel at the govt rate $75 a night. Seemed to still have plenty of rooms.

Forged, I'm staying in Deadwood. I am sure that there are tons of rooms available in the area.

Lee, I'm not sure about everyone else, but I don't have a set route or plan for the return trip - we're just gonna take the slow scenic route & stop when we see something interesting

So you guys are all leaving on the morning of the 30th? Bummer, you'll miss out on all the Sunday activities.

The question was asked on the FB rally discussion page about car washes in Sturgis. We have talked about trying to set up a group that would hand wash. Not sure where we're at on that. I'll check and let you all know.

Glad to see so many coming from your part of the country. Looking forward to meeting you all.
