Sorry to see the rear quarter messed up, but glad you're ok. I'd try to find the best body shop based on recommendations, and try to avoid using the dealer's body shop, if they have one. Most insurance co's will let you take it where you want to.

The panel can be replaced by cutting, welding, and splicing. Look carefully when picking up the car for blending in the rear piller area. The shop will likely fade the paint into the driver's door to prevent a mismatch.

Keep us posted on how the repair comes out.

Dropped it off an hour ago. Waiting for a call back on a price and time estimate, but they said they will not be removing the panel. They're going to sand it down, pop out as much as they can, weld a backer on and use BONDO. Then they'd re-paint that area, blend it in the door and apply new clear coat on the entire door and quarter panel.

The guy said it's ridiculous to remove the entire panel and wasn't even sure it could be done. He did say the entire side of the car would have to be redone.
