Foglight HID's on zl1

I want the foglights to match the headlights better on this car. I just bought from Gen5diy LED foglights hoping to match the color and it does for the most part but there is next to NO light output. Has anyone swapped their fogs with a kit from this link:

It seems like it might work ok, but I am just wondering if anyone has done it and if these work ok in our cars.

I'm looking to do the same thing - not happy to hear LEDs don't work. Doesn't phastek have a kit as well?

They work.. They just look terrible and put out next to zero light through the projector housing.

I am hoping this kit would work cause it looks pretty easy to install and its not insanely expensive.

Which ones do you have? The LED or the HID conversion?

I changed mine out for brighter bulbs. No change. I am thinking that I need to remove the lense in front of the bulb that seems to to defuse all of the light and try to make a mod that let's the light shine through.

So what is the consensus if you dont like the color mismatch and would like equivalent or brighter light? Again - anyone tried the Phastek kit?

The Phastek kit looks IDENTICAL to the LED's I got from Gen5. Even in the pictures the light output doesn't look very good. I am going to try those Hoen bulbs and if they don't work for me I am going to get that HID kit and see what happens.
