I wont be here, but look forward to a 2017 event.

Road America, VIR, heck or Millville. Id say there would need to be a track so we can see some of th3se modified cars run.

That's pretty ambitious to say the least...and I like it. There are a ton of Camaro-specific events throughout the year and in various places. Maybe an idea would be to tag along as a sideshow to one of these established shows?

GM Nationals in Carlisle used to be like that. It was GM Nationals and at the same time and venue the Camaro Nationals was held as sort of it's own event. Then the Camaro Nationals got too big (And turf battles ensued), so they moved to a completely different venue as a stand alone event.

Our group is pretty small. I wonder how many of the 1800 owners are actually on Camaro5? And where do we all live? That may help in the decision making process.

Me? Virginia.

I'm in East Tennessee.....Lots of great mountain roads to drive here, The dragon, Hwy 116, etc. There is some kind of car event at least twice a month in Pigeon Forge, the Rod Runs are the largest. It maybe to far east? I know we have at least 3 active Z owners in east/middle TN.
If the Nashville area is a choice then make it Bowling Green at the new NCM track. It is an awesome track. Some of the Camaro folks got a tease of it at Camaro Fest. I heard a rumor that Bowling Green is being considered for the next Camaro Fest too?

I'm willing to head to the central states for an event, Don't think I would do the west coast.

It's for sure a smaller, close knit group in here. What makes is so cool is that those that own one know what a little gem we really have.

Does it check all the boxes for everyone? No, it doesn't. No car does. But my boxes are checked.

My other cars check other boxes for other purposes.

I would vote for deals gap TN aka "dragons tail". Nashville is a nice town but these cars don't belong in traffic.

I'm in Canada (Toronto) but I'll drive south some. Is South Carolina an option?

Im in Charlotte, NC... Deals gap and the Tail of the Dragon are fun, Did it last year on our Harleys... Roads are killer for the Z28's... tons of curves. I would be down for eastern TN western NC where all the good driving roads are... there is the Devils whip, tail of the dragon the blue Ridge parkway. Could maybe meet in Asheville, NC and go from there.
