..ok guys and gal. Honest opinion. If you see this on the rear 1/4 panel and roof of a 92 Firechicken with 108.5K miles.. walk away, or talk. I've got him at 1500.
It's an LH0, not a formula or t/a. |

That's where I'm going with this. I know a body shop that can fix that for 1500 and probably respray the car (I say after the repairs to the wheel wells and sanding.. it'd need a new coat).
The motor and trans should be pretty well off. It's just been sitting. Interior is cherry too, and has a nice pioneer deck included. |

Upside, is this is the rest of the car. I have found a 350 transplant '84 for the same price.. but with that transplant it'd be a wild card. This one not so much.

Should be fine. But again I'm not holding my breath on this one. Going to test it on the 25th or so. May push it up if he has time earlier than that. He needs to get those tires either reinflated or fixed before I talk and he said he would.
Bought it for his daughter as a college car 2 years ago, but she couldn't drive it in the Kalamazoo/GR winters. It's sat since then afaik. Probably why the rust started developing. When I tapped that one spot it was the worst, straight through the skin. the rest of the rust is surface and funky crap is just bad paint filling using some sort of paint pen.. Again, the interior was what caught my eye. It had no tears or wear. No cracked dash or anything. Just the exterior sucked. *shrug* Also just called up Mr. 350 Firebird and he sold it a few weeks ago. |
