Adams products versus minnesota winter from hell

I have to give a shout out to the adams polish boys as I have just survived one of the worst winters I can remember here in Minneapolis and I have to say I am pleasantly surprised at how my wife's black daily driver German car held up over the winter. With our camaro in hibernation for the winter the daily drivers got a full adams products detail the past fall. My wife's car is a black vw cc and while we stayed away from the slap and scratch car washes we did what is almost as bad and did the touch less chemical bath all winter. While I am not saying I do not have paint correcting and polishing to do on her car I will say I did the first in the drive two bucket wash this past weekend and the paint is not too bad. I was surprised to say the least.

Bravo to adams and the products they produce did an admirable job standing up to a very nasty salt infested nightmare of a winter we just endured here in minnesota.

Sorry no big pearls of wisdom here just allot of quality time in the garage and tired arms and legs when done.

Two bucket wash.
I use the leaf blower to dry my cars (my neighbors look at me like I am crazy)
Clay Towel (tip and product of the year for me hands down it saves a ton of time)
Adams swirl and haze remover
Adams Polish
Adams Glaze
Two fine coats of Americana wax

I would recommend two Surly Abrasive beers or your favorite mirco brew upon completion.

Bring on the salt and sand and holy cow did we have a bunch of it this year.

Wow you got that much protection of from only Wax and you took it through car washes?
I'm in disbelief.

Don't get me wrong here, I will be spending some quality time with my wife's car this coming weekend but it is in much better shape then I thought it would be...

So doors aren't missing and the gas cap is still on?

I use my leaf blower to dry the car as well, its awesome. 200mph electric Craftsmen, only reason I bought it was for drying cars.

I just had to open my big mouth and brag it up...When I got under some not so forgiving light and got to work this past Saturday it took me 8 hours just to get it to the point I could polish...This was after a few areas I would only give an 8 or so...I hate black cars...Sure looked nice when I was done 12 hours later...

I had a feeling you'd come to that conclusion. Wax is good for a lot of things, but not a brutal winter.
