Opinion: 1LE wheel vs ZL1 wheel....if you had to choose....

Just b/c I'm very curious on this topic....

If you had to choose from one of these two wheels in the GM finish, which would you go with?

1LE

ZL1

Not a fan of either, but if I had to choose it would be 1LE, ZL1 is too busy.

1LE all the way. Have the MRR reproduction ones being delivered today in the graphite finish. Should be on tonight or tomorrow.

I like both but even with some type of polymer sealant it would be tough to keep the ZL1 wheels looking decent with all the brake dust my car puts out. I would have to lean toward the 1LE wheel just from a maintenance perspective.

Tough.
I went with 1LE as it may be lighter and has a sportier muscle look. ZL1 is classy muscle.

1LE looks better, the ZL1 wheel is too busy looking for this car.

1LE but really neither...if I am spending $$$ on wheels I don't necessarily want some that a whole bunch of other people are running.

I kind of agree with you, but I have two thoughts (one an opinion) on that

1) To me, its one of the best looking wheels I've seen on the 6th gen...so even if others will have it, I want it.

2) I had 5th gen 1LE replicas on my 2010, and only 1 time did I ever see another 5th gen running them (an actual 1LE). Being in Mid Missouri, I likely don't see as many Camaros as you might, but around here, 1LE wheels aren't going to be very plentiful at all.

I will go with my OEM 1LE wheels with my HBM 1LE!!! (once it finally gets here haha) I also bought the VF 101's from Paul at NFS, awesome deal and I think they might look even better than the OEM's on the 1LE!

No offense Chevy but the 1LE wheel should be the standard ZL1 weel like it was with the 5th gen. They people could buy the less attractive ZL1 wheel if they wanted something different and not so dark. And the 1LE wheels look MUCH easier to keep clean.
