What's to see and do in Nashville - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

I'm just looking at flights now to fly into Nashville to attend C5 Fest. Trying to decide if I should fly home Monday or Tuesday and hang around Nashville and do the tourist thing.

Go see the Country Music Hall of Fame even if you don't like country music.

I dont know if it is still there but there used to be a car museum across from the Country Music Hall of Fame. Back in the 80's my son got to sit in the Bat Mobile from the old TV series. Also there is a replica of the Greek Parthenon near the state Capitol that is neat.

Lots of music venues, check ticket master for the bigger concert events, Broadway bars & stores, Printer's alley, 2nd Ave restaurants/bars, Grand Ole Opry, The Nashville Zoo, 2 lakes/dams (Old Hickory & Percy Priest) & water related activities, Nashville Shores Water park, Opry Mills Mall. There is a start for ya.

Thx. I'm looking at options and a room close to the airport for Sunday night. I'm assuming by looking at Google maps it's about a 90 minute drive from BNA to Bowling Green?

Lots of history there Merc. I have been there 4 times for training through work. Cool place, I would consider moving there. The Belle Mead plantation is a cool tour, opry land hotel is quite the site as well. Then jack Daniels isn't too far away. I even took my wife down with me last time and she loved it as well.

Going to hang around after Fest, just not sure if I will fly home Monday or Tuesday. Revy Fest 4 is only a few days after I get back from C5Fest.

You may want to write the chamber of commerce for tourist info, lots of times you can get discounts on hotels and other attractions that way.

depending weather or not you get enough racing at the fest, Music City Raceway runs 4 days a week according to their schedule. lol

Looking like I will visit the Corvette Museum Sunday after we all say our goodbys at the Fest hotel.

Then head to Nashville Sunday night for dinner and beers.

Tour Nashville Monday and fly out Tuesday late afternoon for home.
