2LS to ZL1 front - 2015 heat extractor - DONE

2LS to ZL1 front conversion and a 2015 heat extractor, installed Eagle eye complete lights while we were in there...

Wanted to say a couple of thanks:

GEN5DIY - custom harness to power all this, and do it right! no hacking here, factory look and performance.
KA1 - for the front end deal, can never say thanks enough. The modifications needed to make it work were excruciating, I feel your pain.
SHOEFLY22 - Thanks for the blood sweat and beers, not to mentions two Friday nights until 2am. Ripping out all the old wiring and doing it right is your thing.
ATL Headturners - Thanks to Kenny and the guys for driving down to a show in Orlando and inspiring...

The LAST pic was at a show last year..."the before". We also cut the lower SS t-rex grill to fit the bottom, Have not taken an updated picture yet...The rain in Florida has sucked lately

love these lights, good price, no issues...and yes cutting the hole was nerve racking but for the price you can get the parts for, this mod is too easy not to do

Anywhere between $650-1500 depending on aftermarket or factory, what lights you want included, and painted or not.

I had a friend parting out and cleaning his garage, so I got it for almost nothing, but it was an aftermarket and needed a lot of fabrication to mount it

Yea I have the RS halos so I would just need a ZL1 front bumper and ZL1 upper grill.

It is a little more than that..You have to trim a lip off of the drain pan and then add mounting holes to the drain pan for new longer bolts you need in the extractor

There are a few threads on it...still an easy job

I'm eyeballing the kits at ACS... I may have to do this, or at least find a nice NACA duct and make something unique.

Love the mods I did my ZL1 conversion back in 2012 one of the best things I did for my appearance mods.

Op, how did you get a ZL-1 front end with an SS mail slot in it? Or are my eyes deceiving me?
