Is this Normal? Rear License Plate Area
There are a series of dimples on the rear bumper in the area where the license plate mounts. They are very symmetrical. There are 3 on each side on the bottom, 1 on each side in the middle and 7 on each side on the top.

I have that on mine too, its for euro plate mounting I guess.
Thought about bringing it in to get fixed but it will never match.

Normal. Line up your plate and youll see the 4 of the dimples will slign. Drill away!

Thanks guys. An awfully crude way to mount the plate. I dumbied up a plate frame and they'll all be covered anyways but, I wanted to make sure that it was normal.

I ended up ordering a frame from a Kia or something online so the plate would have something to attach to. I can look up the # if interested.

nick, the frame of the plate just clears the paint enough to get the tip of a rag under..

What about a carbon fiber frame for your plate that are sold.
Will that size frame cover up all those holes? |
