as there is absolutely no way those Camaros would have left the crank...that's the "sweetbread" of the Mustang. I'm surprised they did not leave any of the sheet metal.

the v6 'maro has so much hp for a 6 cyl tht we shud be applauding chevy just for it being comparable to the gt. yes, gt wud win, but if the gt was manuel, and the maro was auto (cuz an auto can shift faster than any human on earth) and the driver in the gt was a $#!thead, the camaro has a chance. its kinda pathetic wen u compare a v6 to a v8. the 8 shud be a clear winner, no contest. but not with the laughable hp in the gt. im sorry, im kinda prejudiced.

Nearly a second difference in the 1/4 mile between the 2, no the V6 Camaro isn't comparible in acceleration.... he GT is going to win, as you said, if it's an automatic and the Mustang is a manual with a bad driver, but that can be the truth in ny race, if a Camaro SS has a bad driver and the Mustang GT has a good driver, than the GT could win.......

Completely true, I think people get too caught up with just HP numbers and forget the other factors- the mustang GT is still one of the faster cars you can get for the money and even though it's HP seems relatively low, it's high torque and extra cylinders push it along pretty well. It should not even be a race between a V6 Camaro and a GT to be honest, but like it's been said so many times, it usually comes down to the drivers.

So far I've met more cool mustang owners than I have cool 5th gen owners... sad reality of it all is THE CAR DOESN'T MATTER. People are people... only a fool would blindly hate mustang owners for what they drive.
