2 of my other Camaro buds here are running the NW103's on their Whipple's, you should be good also with the Kenne Bell.. And yea these PD blowers like more air for sure, suck more in, put more out!! Good luck...

When sucking through the TB, the additional flow of a large TB can be very worthwhile.

When blowing through the TB, stock works fine.

After putting on my LT headers,my tuner ported my TB. I don't know if the hp went up or not, but the pedal response was a lot better. After installing the S/C, I didn't change the TB.

Ported affects throttle response by flowing more air at part throttle positions.

Bigger flows more air at WFO, if your engine needs it.

I replaced my ported stock size with the NW103 and picked up 40 whp on my Whipple setup, but the part throttle response has dulled slightly. Still worth it to me.

Can your tuner do a little "tweaking" on the throttle response to get rid of the dull spot? I remember when we tuned my car after the manifold swap and my tuner mentioning something about making the throttle response a little more responsive. Gotta say mine has a "hair trigger" response. lol. Gotta be careful with it.

Well, to be fair, my version of "dull" is me being especially picky at very small throttle openings. Most mods are give and take so I'm not surprised at it, but will likely do some logging to see if there is any room for tweaking.

Well…I went for the big boy and ordered the Nick Williams 112mm. I think the Kenne Bell is equipped to make the most of it. It uses a 4.5” (112mm) intake tube on it and the intake manifold is huge (plate shrinks it down to accept the 90mm stock LS3 throttle body).

Sure hope we can tune this thing. Time will tell.

I had the issue with the NW 102 standard on about 18lbs on my F1-A. Caused fluttering after a few thousand miles that would result in the engine shutting off at highway speeds. Not a cool thing. Sent it in and had it upgraded to the 102 Boosted. Haven't had an issue since.
