I thought 18" was the minimum that would clear the Brembo brakes on an SS, and not all 18's will.

Actually, there are a few 17" wheels (Weld, Bogart, & CCW) that will fit over the factory SS Brembo brakes. And yes, there is a larger selection of 18" wheels that will fit too. But I think the OP is talking about running a 15" conversion in the rear for big drag racing tires. That is the only 15" that I've seen anyone running, is the serious drag race guys. As far as I know, there are only a couple companies that make such a thing. I think it was IPS Motorsports makes a very high quality conversion (expensive!), and TCE is making some modified hub/brake systems for 15" conversions, but they don't sell the required lower control arms. I know that BMR is supposed to release their 15" Conversion Kit sometime soon. They've been promising it's release for several months now, but it keeps getting pushed back for whatever reason.

Exactly! You are correct blazzin1.
I am looking for a complete kit to allow for a 15 inch wheel. I've seen the TCE ad but not interested in it. Price isn't a concern. I know I read somewhere on here somebody makes a kit but I am not able to find the info I need to contact the company. That's what I'm looking for. Any help would be great. Thanks! |

Extreme Innovation & Fabrication makes a 100% complete bolt in kit that comes with the Wilwood 15" brake setup. Craig is a super awesome guy and his work speaks for itself as it is the nicest stuff out there and worth every penny. Give him a call and he can hook you up and you can run any 15" wheel you want. Craig did my cage, the 15" conversion, Santhuff coilovers and fron K member.
