Talking sunroof an Option?

Have not seen any sunroof discussion or if its even going to be available on the ZL1....
I am about 80% sure I won't be doing a convertible option if it becomes available, but what about sunroof? Gotta have it! I gotta have it!

That's the only thing that I really don't like about the Gen V Camaro, what ever happened to T-Tops?

Hmm, Oh well, I'm pretty sure there's a T-Top kit or custom body shop that'll do this for me. In fact the article I got this from says it was a kit that debuted at SEMA.

He told me that was the best damn answer he ever heard.

+1 on the t-tops. They would really make the car seem a lot bigger on the inside.

I'm just not sure about the moon roof. I like the one in my Hummer and I had one on my cobalt SS but I sat in a gen 5 SS and the roof is to close to my head! (I'm 6' 1") So I dropped the seat down but them I look like a little person. Isn't it a 900 dollar option anyway? I think I will pass, but it will more likely be the wife's choice She is letting me get the car after all.

The rear passenger area would get a lot more light too.

I'm sorry, but if it weren't for my sagging and ripped up head liner, and the cost of fuel nowadays I'd be running around with my T-Tops off about %70 of the time I'm driving. The only downside to T-Tops is fuel milage. your back window basically turns into a small parachute. You still get a negative impact on fuel mileage with a vert, but not near as much as with the T-Tops off.

But then there's the fact that when you have the tops on it LOOKS like a hardtop coupe and you basically have 2 big square sunroofs. There's also no fabric to rip or get knifed up by some jealous criminal.

GM, WHY U NO BRING BACK T-TOPS!?!?!

Government regulations have made t-tops just about impossible for manufacturers.

As much as I love sunroofs/moon-roofs, I would not get one in a camaro due to lowered head room. I barely fit in a Gen5 camaro with a sunroof. I am about 6'2 and the head room is non existent almost, where as in a non sunroof one I have plenty of head room. Amazing what the few inches of difference makes. I would be all for one though for those that can enjoy them!

How to hug your camaro
Buy the car that you would most like to get beat in. The other guy will always be faster.
