Seems like many of us are in the same boat! You guys have some good coping strategies!

Mine is still under warranty and nothing's worn out at 22K, so except for some bling here and there, she's still bone stock. Mods would be a fun diversion.

This may be a stupid question, but...: is it safe to hook up a battery tender under a closed hood and car cover? Didn't know if it generated any gases that would get trapped under there.

I know this is a Camaro forum but damn that is a beautiful 77 TA! Would love to see some more pictures of that somewhere if you haven't posted!

By the way everyone I'm sorry.

It seems like they’re spreading a lot more salt than normal this year. I actually had to risk freezing up my lock on my truck because I had to wash the salt off last night. It’s going to be awhile before the roads are clean from the residue so I guess I’ll leave mine garaged until it washes off.

Btw, get that garage door opener track adjusted!

That 77 TA has me drooling... perfect example of a well cared for car too. I would love to see more pics

Yes it's safe to charge your battery that way. That's how I do it every year. The battery is in the trunk and it is vented. I have found that if you have regular access to where your car is stored, you can just plug in the battery tender once a month or so till the battery is fully charged and then unplug it till the next month.

I second that request. Would love to see more shots of that beautiful Tran Am. Dam you GM for killing Pontiac.

They are predicting a tough winter here in New England. I believe it. Right now with snow on the ground it is 9 degrees F. So won't see the Camaro for awhile. I like to go to www.jaylenosgarage.com and watch Jay drive hot cars people take to his garage. I also like to watch Street Outlaws.

Damn straight!!!

I’ve been in some crazy fast & expensive cars and at 6’2” they aren’t made for me.

Hey Thunderstick, honestly, I envy you. It's obvious you are enjoying your car while I am missing mine! :-)

By request - I know this is a Camaro forum, but here are but a few pics of my beloved original owner (me), rare Y81 hard top Special Edition Bandit. I ordered this beauty loaded from the dealer in 1977 with the Pontiac 6.6 engine and 4sp, and somehow never sold it. Probably would be more valuable w/o the mods, but damn it, I have always been a modder and the car is certainly a hit at local car shows. She is very happy when parked next to my 2010 SS in the garage.

currently in the low teens outside, nasty weather. glad my SS is parked, just hoping to have a warm up in a week or so. hoping to start it and let it run a bit when the temps get in to the high 30's with luck. it is the price we pay to have a pristine muscle car come spring

Yeah bummed out, winter started early here. Roads have been a salty mess for 3 weeks already. I know its crazy to not drive it to keep the rust off it when I plan to trade it in after 5-6 years but you never know plans could change and I could keep it for 20 years. I have been driving it to work at least once a week during the summer to get more seat time. I do love the car.
