Well that was a waste...... the Chevrolet parts lists that Diff but I a pretty sure that is for the V6 car since it has 3.27 LSD on the label.

Also my guy from Motive said that is a German ZF unit.

I have also ordered the 3.45 Ring and Pinion to see what that resembles.

Damn detective work is expensive. :(

Robin,

Doesn't the L99 auto also come with the 3.27? V8 Ring and Pinion is bigger than the 6 cyl cars isn't it? I heard the V8 ring gear was 8.6", but you can hear anything. We appreciate your willingness to "go where no man has gone before".

Can a 3.73 rear go with the L99?

Probably a stupid question, but it has been years since I have tinkered...at least 18, and I do not know anymore.

OK it appears that the V6 and the V8 share the same diff. If that proves true than you should be able to use the same aftermarket gearset it both.

I should have some prototype gearsets in my hands in a week or so.

Stay tuned......

Don't be too kind, I am just a lucky stiff that gets to work with GM Performance Parts.
Hopefully I can help enhance your Camaro experiance as others on this site have.

Thanks
