That depends on your perspective. I didn't find it disappointing. It wasn't your traditional style of game ending for sure, but it was the correct call by the rulebook. I've never seen a game end like that. Ever. Certainly was a strange ending to a well played game overall by both clubs.

correct call or whatever, it was a lousy way to end a World Series game, Craig fell onto Middlebrooks, it's not like Middlebrooks was standing up and blocking him, what was he supposed to roll out of the way, congrats to your Cardinals, they won the game, onto Sunday night.

I think technically the umps made the right call. If the third baseman hadn't raised his legs while on the ground that call might not have been made.

It is was the right call imo, the third basemen didn't get to his feet until after the play at Home. Point being, he had no intention to get out of the way of the runner. That was the second bad play for the third basemen last night. He missed the grounder from Holliday earlier that also could have been made. It seemed to me he might have been down on himself a little...
A walk off Home run would have been a better ending lol, but the call was correct imo.

Good point...whether it's errors, bad calls, whatever, both sides get them...You gotta hit and score your way past all that in order to win.

Yeah, that "play" he made on Holliday's hit was pretty weak...Terrible foot-work on his part....

I hate it when a game is decided on a controversial play or call. Lots of baseball yet to be played in this series. On a positive note, if Boston does win the World Series they will do it at home!
