That's awful, you should park as far away from everything as you can get to help avoid this.

I scraped my hood with the end of my leaf blower.

I thought it would be a good idea to blow the water off of my car and scraped the hood with the end of it.

I do that all the time, works great...

That said I tripped on the cord once and made a nice scratch on the side of my Vette....

Note To Self: Do not use the leaf blower anymore. I used it last Saturday just fine, but do not want any scratches.

I am so anal about dust on the car and any sort of mark on the car. Have a couple rock marks on the front fascia, but no scratches thus far. Just received a rock chip on the windshield 2 days ago. Right near the bottom, never saw the rock either. Oh well, no a damn thing you can do about it.

Get some duct tape and wrap a towel around the end of the leaf blower, maybe? I mean, it's not a WD-40 problem, so it's got to be a duct tape problem.

Maybe it has something to do with GM watering down the paint to save money

That is precisely the point.
Society-at-large conditions people to want or aspire to nice things, like Camaro.
But what isn't spoken-of is that society-at-large itself is like a game of musical chairs. There's not enough for everyone and not everyone has learned the virtues of patience and hard work. Just witness the element that acquires their possessions by illegal means, often through the use of force. Jealousy, envy, bitterness. All are emotive energies which bring out the worst in some. It's a symptom of the age with so many frustrated, out of work and just generally maladjusted.

And sometimes it's only a door ding or scrape.
But with increasing frequency, it has become more than just that.

I blame city folks. Podunkville, Iowa doesn't have these kinds of problems.
