Cohabitation Law/ taxes
Does anyone know if west virginia/ virginia have dropped their cohabitation laws yet? I did some searching, but most recent articles date back to 2007. Not sure if this is still in place?
Trying to figure out taxes/ whether or not i should/ could claim my fiance or not as she was unemployed the past year. Our case meets all the other requirements, just not sure if wv/va still has the anti cohabitation law in place.
