Dsx aux fuel pump Kit fuel pressure
So I have the dsx kit installed and tuned for E85. Yesterday while roll racing a friend, I still see my fuel pressure at the rails through my aeroforce gauge drop down to 43psi at wot. Why would this be?

Use something other than the Aeroforce to check pressure. I've seen many instances of the Aeroforce reporting pressure incorrectly when it's high.

Are you using the stock SS FPCM tune? If so it’s doing exactly what it’s told and dropping pressure higher rpm’s.

double check the connection at the map sensor! it wasnt a good enough connection on mine and when i would wiggle it and watch it on hp tuners it would jump all over the place without the car even running! i gently bent the pins inside the connector and plugged it back in and never had another problem!!

If you have the ability to log data, that will tell you what is going on. You can watch fuel pressure in real time, as well as MAP data to see if you are getting erratic data there. I'm inclined to agree with the others that your most likely culprit is an improperly tuned/adjusted FPCM.
Let us know what you find. -Scott |

Also, if you're a zl1, make sure to put it on the rear sensor on the lid. Otherwise jump the pump manually and make sure it works at all. I've found that unless you're moving a ton of air, the pump will move enough fuel that the fpcm can't slow down the in tank pump enough to drop pressure to requested, so if you're dropping to 40's and requested is anything higher, then the aux pump probably isn't turning on. Sorry if this doesn't make sense, it's late and I got an early start today.

Aeroforce reads what the computer reads.

Sounds like you need to tune the FPCM. Think I had my setup set to 450KPA (65psi) all the time. Stock SS is 58 And set to drop pressure as the RPMs go up. Do not know why GM did it.
