I was monitoring my battery voltage today, at one time it went from 14.9 to 13.1 and then it started to fluctuate between 13.1 to 14.5 and then the next time it stayed around 15.0 to 15.3...What is the normal range? and is it suppose to fluctuate like that

Adaptive charging - so it will range like that.

When you switch the key on in the morning, before you hit the starter, and with nothing else on, the battery should read 13.2V if fully charged.

I had a similar issue where when I accelerated, the engine would torque and pull on a harness which pulled on a wire under the engine bay fuse/relay box. It would kill all power when it did. Sound like you have something similar. Can be a pain to trace, but check for a lose wire in a connector block near the main computer. That'd be the first place I'd look.

Get out your HP Tuners and log everything to do with air, fuel, spark and maybe your find the problem.

You can take the battery out and have it tested at any Autozone, Advance Auto, etc.

Any specific or repeatable actions or situations causing it? ...accelerating, braking, a specific gear or speed? ..or is it just random?

With around 5k miles on a 2003, have not had any of this happen to me (knock on wood). You need to have the dealership put this in writing everytime this happens" that the car just "dies" . It is dangerous as you have said since the engine quits, you lose all your power steering and brake functions. Something similiar happened to my wifes friend who had a Mercedes C class i think, where the car would just stop running for no reason at all. Mecedes Lemoned it and gave her a new one after months of not being able to figure it out. But documentaion is key!
