Love and hate

Hate detailing the car, but damn the results are always satisfying.

Paint looks great! What’d you use on it?

Electric pressure washer is so nice to have, I like mine a whole lot better after upgrading the hose and wand.

Personally I enjoy the various detailing processes. If I didnt, I probably wouldnt bother. Its a pretty big investment of time and money for arguably little gains.

I e always been a fan of Meguiars. So I’ve I’m using their clay bar kit, ultimate compound/polish on a harbor freight DA polisher. Then I’m trying out ceramic coating. I was going to use their ceramic hybrid wax, but for 30$ more I’m doing carpro c quartz 3.0. However, I’m going to use their hybrid ceramic spray wax and ceramic detailer during washes to just “build up” the ceramic coating.

It’s just very very tedious. Doesn’t help too that we just had a newborn, so trying to squeeze in detailing time doesn’t help.

Tec 582 is also a good ceramic detail spray.

Congrats on the baby!

I clayed, polished, and ceramic coated mine last weekend. I used Chemical Guys VSS, Hydro Charge, and Hydro Slick. I’m super impressed with how clean the car has stayed.

36hrs later, time for ceramic. I should’ve done this a long time ago. Just gives it waaaaay more depth.
