14 2 SS Splash guard confusion, need some guidance. - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

So I am looking for some splash guards, My paint is perfect and I have some ZL1 rims coming which will be sticking out further, I also have OEM ZL1 Side skirts coming to install.
Are these the ones I should get?

Any other options? I see alot for the 10-13 but not 14 and up. I am looking for ones that will not really stand out. Thank you.

Well the last link you posted says they have been discontinued, the set of 4. So it looks like the first 2 links is what you will need for the ZL1 rockers. Theses are the only others I could find. You could always call Phastek and ask if they would work on yours.

CPCNY is there a reason you like those rears instead of the ones from RPIDESIGNS?
The ACS ones say 10-13 only as well.

I did not say they won't work, I just said to call Phastek to make double sure they will. They are all the same. The lower body panels on the 10-15 Camaros is the same, the only difference is the front and rear tail and trunk lid.

I know you didn't say they would, i am just wondering why they all pretty much say 10-13 will not work on 14-15 on the ones I am looking at, I didn't think there was a difference that would affect guards. I'll call them this week.

Hopefully I like them, The GM ones are pretty expensive. I am adding ZL1 Rims and i am nervous about paint chips as currently my paint is flawless.

Any tips on The install? No direction sent with them, I haven't taken them out of package yet but figured I'd ask. Do I need to drill?

I just bought a set from RPI and emailed them asking them about instructions and was told they don't provide any, sorry for the inconvenience. Who the hell sells a product that comes with a bag of hardware and no instructions? Ikea?

I've rebuilt a classic Ferrari with minimal documentation so I'm sure I can figure it out, but why should I have to in today's day and age?

Did they not take pictures during development? How do they even know they fit? Amazing what just a couple of images or a few words on a page would do to help their customers.

This will likely be my only purchase from RPI given their lack of product support.

Larry G I agree with you, I am sure I can figure it out but just a few tips and pic's would be nice. I have purchased a couple items from them and every time I called them it seemed like I was bothering them. Hopefully They hold up.

Got them installed, I ended up using another screw towards the top and didn't use their clips or hardware, The screws and spacers they send are way to long, I am also not happy that the front ones are flat black on the wheel side ( Which I like ) and the backs are very shiny towards the wheel side. If I had to do it again I would go OEM.
