I kind of hinted at this earlier...but I am not trying to bust any balls. It absolutely needs e85 to get anywhere close to 800 whp in my opinion.

Not busting mine, I can only go by what they tell me. I know you can fudge any parameter to get any number you want. I am not hung up on the number game, that is why when they told me the dyno was set up for their dragster i told them go for it, numbers did not matter. When I drop the clutch and it pins you back in the seat, that is all I care about. Thanks for looking in on my build, Keep checking in as I hope to have the dyno done soon (I will have the shop do the math and put it on the sheet , so you can call b.s. on them), scheduled window tint on the 7th, hope to get the roll bar and interior re-installed soon after. Awesome build and detail. I want to see some times and trap speeds. That tells the tale.

Window tinting
Yeah! Finally got the windows tinting done, the shop was finally able to open... Got a windshield sun visor installed and all the windows done including the moonroof with ceramic tinting.
Had to go to Discount tire to get a tire replaced, was flat when I went to get tinting done. So took some pictures of windows. Thought I would also include a pic of how low the car sits... How low can you go? Last edited by Vicster; 05-19-2020 at 06:51 AM. |

Tuning
Was able to work on the tune when driving to get window tinting done. Got tune down to 2 percent. I may need to drive 2 more times to get below 1 percent, then it is ready for the dyno. It is a heavy load off my shoulders getting the street tune almost perfect.
But would like to get the roll bar installed first, Before the dyno pulls. |

Replace or Paint

Painted the Silver door black and tried it to. To tell the truth I like it black, everything silver or chrome is getting blacked out, wheels, badging and splitter support rods. |

Hope to install rollbar this weekend
Moved car into driveway and drove it up on the racks up front and jacked up the rear. All that is left inside to get it ready is to pull out is the driver seat.

Rollbar going in
Well I finally got started on installing the rollbar. Got the rear section bolted in, what a pain in the ass! Just have to mount the front stanchions for the door bars...
