Gap between headlight and bumper cover

Guys,

I recently had my front splitter changed. So the dealer had to remove the front bumper completely and put it back. Now when I look at the headlights from the front of the car, I notice a 1/4 inch gap between the headlight lense and the bumper. The gap is the same around the lense.

I simply do not remember if that gap was there before. It looks a little odd, it feels like there should be some sort of rubber seal between the headlight and the bumper.

Could someone please confirm there should be a seal there, or is the gap normal?

Thanks.

Relief!

Thanks guys. I was just concerned about water going in on a rainy day or in car wash, etc. but if it's designed that way, it should be fine.

Well, the gap is more like an 1/8", not a quarter. Then again, I hold my thumb and forefinger about 3" apart and tell my wife that's 9"
