Bass rattlle?

i have an 11 rs with the ba stereo and i have 1 10" sub being pushed by a seperate amp, sounds great ,but it doesn't take much "hit" for the deck rearview mirror and the door panels to start rattling, and it sounds junky! would anyone know any fixes for this, aside from buying a '15 model? Thanks

Turn the bass down for the speakers as it shakes and rattles the rear deck. Some have drilled screws to better hold the 6x9's down. Also, put some weather striping on your trunk lid. Check it out here: http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showth...t=66843&page=3 (Post 71)

How much power are you pushing? I'm at 600 watt rms with one 12" sub and the only time I hear rattle is on very low bass notes with radio pretty loud, no Dynamat but bass on highs is completely turned off

not 600 rms, its a pioneer 400 watter pushing a kicker 10", don't get me wrong i think it sounds great but on some songs , dang, feels like the door panels rear window and back deck are just gonna jump out the window, i've never had this problem before , thats why i just dont get it.

Dynamat in the trunk, rear deck, and doors combined with surgical precision. What I did to keep my rearview mirror from rattling was simply fold a sheet of paper a few times and stuff it between the mirror assembly and the windshield. Works perfectly and is hardly noticeable. Comepletely eliminating rattles in the deck though is kid of hard... I'm still suffering on that front, but I'm hitting decently hard. Could also maybe roll your windows down.... Sounds dumb, but it makes a world of difference in my car. Can feel the bass more with them down too.
