Wifes SS gets some cooling mods
I made a mock up out of cardboard to get the design of this box this was before I knew how easy it is to relocate the electronics in the trunk. I finally got around to installing it and it turned out pretty good my zl1 came out a lot cleaner but this will work just fine. I went with a Davies Craig on this setup if you remember I went with the WMP stewart on mine and relocated all the electronics. The whole system holds 4 gallons of Stay Frosty Race Ready Coolant. They claim a 30 degree difference over antifreeze with no freeze protection.
Parts list: 1x Davies Craig 150 pump 2x ORB to AN fittings for the Davies Pump 2x -16AN 90 and straight fittings Box to the pump 4x -12AN fittings straight, 90, 45.. 35 feet of 12 LOC braided Gates Hose 6 bucks a foot 2x VPR 2302 2 gallons ea. Stay Frosty I set it up like the Zl1 using 2 pumps. From the tank the fluid is push by the Davies through the blower then out the blower to edelbrock pump then through the exchanger back to the tank. https://youtu.be/la2PItfbhNQ

Nice going man, that looks pretty damn clean to me. Have you been able to log any temperature variations post installation?

That would be awesome to see much cooler things are with the upgrade, especially with how hot your area has been lately. Thanks again for sharing, definitely good food for thought.
