Scammer Alert: southylove aka George Buckminister aka rchars1.8t - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

I was looking for a single turbo kit for my 2013 Camaro SS when "southylove" PM'd me and said his buddy had one. Email for the buddy was buczks110@gmail.com and his apparent name was George Buckminister. He sent me pics from a Huron Speed kit thread that was sold on this website 8 months ago, provided no new pictures and refused secure payment. He constantly dodged requests for new pics, PayPal payment and his address. He claimed to be rchars1.8t of vwvortex and upon searching I found a thread where he scammed a guy out of 5k for a twin turbo kit. Eventually I went to Facebook and was told this kit was previously for sale on this site and lo and behold they were the exact same pics. Watch out for this scammer.

I got one on Camaro6 from him as well for some 1LE wheels.

Sent him a fake address and he said he's shipping the wheels and once I receive I can pay for them..... which is just weird for anyone to do, much less a scammer.

Glad you didn't get scammed. There is a lot of these fake profiles popping up lately where people create to just private message you telling you to reach out to an email address that they have what you are wanting.
