SLP mail slot delete insert instructions

Hello
I am looking for the original instructions for the SLP mailslot delete installation instructions. I have searched this forum, youtube, and even tried using the waybackmachine.com without success.

Thanks

It’s just tabs that hold it in place. Just push it in and they should pop in place.

The bumper doesn’t need to come out for this? I remember my friend had his bumper out, and did it super easily while the bumper was out, but…

I believe you can remove the metal plate under the hood where the hood latches without removing the bumper. Although I have never done this before but there should be access. I could be wrong and hopefully someone chimes in to help you.

Yes, you can remove the black header plate, just have to remove the screws and plastic pins and pull it out from under the bumper cover. I have done it a couple times to get to the backside of my grille.

What holds the front leading edge down so it is not pulled up by airflow?

Some screws and push pins hold it all down.. Pop your hood and look at the black metal header plate.. If I remember correctly, the screws hold the plate in place, and the push pins hold the top of the bumper cover down.

You are talking about the mail slot delete panel right?? the small one that fits in to the front fascia? If so, those just clip in to place, no need to remove the front end.

What holds the very front edge of the SLP panel down? Double sided tape? Something has to be there to prevent the wind from lifting it at speed?

Did you try getting a hold of SVE to get the info?

Do you have one? Why are you asking this if you never looked at it? It’s a straight forward process. Buy one, install it. Plain and simple.
