It gets a LOT of attention at the shows, and when I got it tuned, oh boy was I supprised with the performance and driveability. Love it and would do it again!!
And that it fits under the hood is looking like a top contender to go with. Unless I do a whipple lol then don’t need to worry about intakes.

I bought the Edelbrock because of price mainly and the LOD to me doesn't look as good. This is what's great about our sport. Variety.

Just an FYI, one of my Camaro friends here just installed a Holly Hi-Ram intake on his 2010 Camaro SS. What he did and showed me is take it to his machine shop and had them cut the top/back side of the intake off, angle it down and trim it down and re-weld it so it looks like the back side of the LOD so he could install it without having to cut up the firewall cowl and keep his passenger windshield wiper too. It was lowered in the back enough to have about 1/4" space between the top/rear of the intake and the cowl, and about 1/8" between it and his BMR strut bar. It looked well done, but I'm not to sure how it would affect the airflow in the plenum at the back of the intake because it wasn't designed that way. But it looked like a very clean install.

How did it turn out? Personally I probably would've went with a cowl hood, or said to heck with it and get a CID intake for the amount of trouble it sounds.

I was about to ask this. I just can’t spend the money to alter it this much and not know how it’s going to affect airflow

Your setup has always caught my eye, with that 5k stall on a 6L80. What intake do you have again?
