OK, So going with speed eng. long tubes off road pipes keeping stock H pipe and resonator and my borla atak axel back. Headers arrived today and I must say I have no complaints about welds or Flanges, hopefully installing this weekend and getting on the dyno soon after. Quality of speed eng. LT's looks great, and they have actual customer service!! Everything under $400! GM gaskets bolts clamps and O2 extensions
Thanks to all on this site for all your posts and info.

I'm running Corsa extreme, not cats and long tubes and I was worried it was going to be too much. It isnt. At normal driving rpms, it isnt loud at all. Honestly not alot more than stock. Give it throttle and hell will come alive lol

Oh yeah... I knew it would surprise you. Video your dyno run and post it on YouTube. Then share your link here so we can check it out.

Download a sound meter. My car with a big cam, ported heads, Doug Thorley tri Y headers, no cats, and solo performance exhaust is at 90 decibels when I fire it up on a cold start. It definitely barks. It has great cruising manners and no drone You can hear the radio and carry on a nice conversation. You can even here the different sounds of the texture of the road when the surface changes. When you step on the loud pedal everybody knows it. It is like kicking a sleeping dog!

Hello guys, i am new here as i bought my SS a month ago and within the first week i did a full Speed engineering exhaust(1/78 headers to 3inch full exhaust), i will say that for those looking at installing exhaust system you must first ask yourself what is your intended direction as exhaust piping diameter is a limit factor on power production as a pipe can only flow X amount of air at a time; then factor in the sound. Have a wonderful day

What kind of millage are you getting?

I have the GPI VVT3 cam. I installed it and it did bring up the decibels. Best thing I did for my car. It did knock down my millage to. I get about 13mpg, 20mpg hwy, and perma grin. My wife asked why I turn down the radio every time we stop. Gotta steal the thumper cam saying...envied by friends, hated by neighbors.
