I will post mine later, I have a love/hate with them, I like the look without them better, but I love the protection they give..

I bought these on Ebay from Showstopper in Saint Charles, Illinois, and I have to tell you, it took 3 weeks for them to arrive. After 2 weeks, I ended up emailing the seller, asking for a tracking number; never heard from them. I even emailed them again once I received the rock guards, and still have not heard from them. I wonder if they even answer emails. For $135.00, you would think they would have some great customer service.
I installed them right away, and installation was a breeze. Packaging was a joke, as they were just put inside a USPS box that was still laying flat, taped up with cheesy instructions, and sent on their way. I would not be so disappointed if it didn't take 3 weeks, with ZERO communication, and packaged like my 5yo did it, but once you wait for a product that long, you tend to be more of a critic once it arrives. They do look like a $15.00 item that can be duplicated quite easily, and I think I will look for plastic that has the same texture as the factory plastic. These don"t look ANYTHING like the factory rock guards in the rear, which is even more disappointing. If your an old lazy guy like me, then go for these, if not, make your own. But I will be making a set for my car that has a factory plastic appearance, and will be selling these once I use them as a template. Price will be half of what they cost online....$60.00. Any takers???? Last edited by axnhose; 07-04-2013 at 08:48 AM. |

The ones shown in this thread are priced right for what they are. The ebay ones are not replicas of the rear but they do serve a purpose. Most people will not notice the difference unless they know what they are looking at.

I am looking to get a set. I know you can get 3M tape at Walmart but where do you buy that adhesion promoter for the plastic. Does Walmart sell this stuff also. |
