For me the worst part is the ginormous A pillar and mirror. You really have to move your head around to make sure you aren't going to run over someone or something at certain times. The blindspot warning tech makes it easy to know about anything behind or to the sides of you and it works great!

Having owned a 5th and 6th gen, I'll say that you'll get used to it. And the 6th Gen is a slight improvement over the 5th as far as seeing out of the window between your B and C pillars.

Similar visibility issues seen here in early prototype. Prematurely labeled "Deathmobile", no one has died yet from over-hyped visibility issues with the 6th Gen....

The only thing that bothers me about the windows is that the belt line is so high I cannot rest my arm on the windowsill comfortably.

The main visibility problem is there are no pictures visible in this thread of your car. Congrats

I was having issues using the back up camera... i have never had one so the perspective and disorientation of it was throwing me off, so i started using ym mirrors, but you cannot see the lines (every car has this problem) So i read through my owners manual, and spent a few horus going throughs settings and getting everything exactly how i wanted it, and i don't even use the back up camera anymore, always used my mirrors before and now with them auto tilting its AMAZING!
Typical features for cadillac owners for about the last decade. (my dads previous escalade 2003 ESV had it) Tech just makes the mechanical portions of driving a little easier =D |

Definitely the Camaro has visibility problems. Can you get used to it? Yes. The side warning should be standard on all Camaros Chevy. If you go drive an S550 Mustang and look for it you will notice a difference. Much improved. It is the bigest gripe I have with the Camaro besides the sound tube.

The biggest problem is YES you can "get used to it". Now imagine any other product you own and think of how many you bought thinking "this feature doesn't do what I want.....but I suppose I can get used to it". Everyone on this site has clearly can get used to it or not hepave a problem with it. The issue is the people that don't buy a Camaro because they don't feel like spending $40 or $50,000 on a product that they have to get used to.

I sit up pretty high in the car, so the biggest visibility issue for me is not being able to see the turn signals through the steering wheel.
