I was able to finish up the paint correction on Saturday.

The last third of the car remaining was the roof, tops of the doors, A-pillars and C-pillar (sail panel) as well as mirrors. Completed all three steps of polish on those areas then backed it outside and gave it a thorough wash and detail job. Also installed the new freshly chromed OEM wheels.

It was a beautiful weekend and the first day of the year working with the shop door open.

Here are a few pictures of the last remaining sections and steps before she's ready to knock down miles this summer.

Pulled the cover off it and took it to work. Gonna be in the 60s-80s this week. As long as I'm in the office and I don't have to run out to any jobsites, ill probably be using the Camaro all week. Its funny the varied reactions this car gets when I bring it to work. Its either a simple, nice car or whatever or I get the looks like I'm a douchebag. I love when people say "must be nice". I usually respond now with "yep, it is. Its nice having nice things when you work for them."

Installed Pedders XA coilovers this weekend. Looks fantastic and handles amazing. Can't wait to track it! Little bit concerned about ground clearance though. With 18" wheels the car has less than 2" of clearance on the headers. Might need to raise it up a little.

Owner of my company just traded his Maserati for an Aston Martin. Its absolutely gorgeous. He never says much about my cars except that he hates when I back up to his office window. Its mostly the technicians, warehouse guys or other Project managers that always give me some guff for it. The Vice president came at me once about the Camaro at a dinner about how it makes me look immature and its a waste of time. I politely told him that it doesnt matter which car I have parked in front of my office, I work the same. I also told him its a shame that he doesnt have a hobby or at least understand someone who has a hobby.

Thank you and thanks for giving me the nudge to go with these wheels. I wasn't really finding anything aftermarket that kept with the theme I was going with and these are actually a very nice chrome job, plus I feel they add just the perfect balance of brightwork to paint.

Nicely done sir!! Looks fantastic. Here is a pic of mine back when I first decided to add some SHINE to her. The chrome just looks really nice on the RJT color.
