Some new upgrades.... Finally!

With the push for power and moving to the Whipple I had upgraded my injectors to the FIC offering, but fell flat on waiting for the LFE big bore pump. Regardless, that pump is now on its way and a new cam in bound to make use of the fuel increase.

A great lesson I have learned is set your goals for bigger than you want and you will not have to buy parts again. I never dreamed going beyond my 747, but... yeah you guys know I should have known better...

We're spec'ing the cam out a bit more to the Whipple setup to pull low end torque and bring it back up top so we can launch the car and now with the converter it has changed things a bit... for the better.

So, new fuel pump, new cam and a new tune incoming. Finally get to realize all this Whipples power as the high side pump I have now while running E85 hates life when wanting to go over 780rwhp on the CMS dyno. New big bore setup and new fuel lobe will be welcome additions.

Maybe I should go 110 and avoid all these fueling issues.

I thought Cunningham set your cam up for the centrifugal blower. Which is night and day different than your Whipple. I seen you mentioned it was just boost in general, but they don't really work that way. Glad to see you getting a cam to match your blower, it will certainly help with your power and your new fuel set up. Good luck on your mods!

I've been hunting an electrical gremlin in my car the last few weekends. The issue is causing the battery to drain down to next to nothing. Everything has been unplugged that was added and now I am going to start testing fuse by fuse to see if we can find the rogue power draw.

We have replaced the battery and checked the alternator. The battery seems to cycle and will hold a charge. But 2-3 days later, dead.

We thought we figured it out, but it still plagues me.

Do you use an exhaust bypass valve controller or electric cut outs ? maybe something goofy going on there .

Wanted more power down low all the time and wanted more power in general.

Still waiting on the LPE big bore pump, but here are my cars current power numbers until that arrives and gets installed.

Running E85 w/ 13lbs boost - 761RWHP / 690 RWTQ

This blower has a ton more to give but being fuel system limited sucks. Looking at other options regardless of still upgrading fuel components. C16 and Meth could be in my future.

Yesterday with the help of a good friend I installed my new cam and the LPE big bore fuel pump. We will now go back to the 3.5 upper and add the 9.1 lower for the Whipple and aim for the stars. Goal on the CMS dyno is 850+ and probably close to 900 on a DynoJet.

Regarding the LPE HPFP, I thought I heard it does not work or at least may result in reliability problems with cams that have fuel lobes greater than 10%. What do the experts say about this?

That would be for Version 1.0. Version 2.0 fixes this issue.

When you do the next video could you state what your entire fuel system looks like? I've very curious to know as I'm on the fence about getting my Whipple modified for port injection.

Gotta bust your balls sledge. You had a video called "Installing FIC injectors" I think it was and no part of the install was shown whatsoever. You just showed them sitting in the box.
