Not sure,if there is enough intrest. You can buy the gauge by itself and do what we did if you want. For those capable of doing this kind of stuff,it really is not that hard to figure out. |

While on the subject of the Dash Hawk, anyone know the frontal area if the 2010 Camaro or it's drag coefficient? It's needed to properly "calibrate" for certain functions.

Relocating the operating buttons explains a lot of the cost of installation. The one item I've never liked about the gauge itself is the tiny buttons that I sometimes have to press two or even three times before the gauge responds. Your solution is probably a lot more user friendly. My wife would kill me if I paid that much for a gauge and install, but it sounds like a much better value now than it did just reading the first post.

Anyway, don't do it. Just went on the company forum and sadly to say the company no longer supports the device. No updates since 2008, looks like people are pretty pissed actually--oh well. Looks like this is the new 'best thing', it is pretty cool but unfortunately I don't think this will mount anywhere in the camaro without looking out of place. http://www.dashdaq.com/buy/buynow.htm This is a pretty insane product. I can't believe I havn't heard of it before. |

That's cool! The price is kinda' high, but it looks like you get what you pay for and it looks good installed. Hmm...

In my opinion the black is a great improvement. It looks factory. For guys doing forced induction it will read boost as well as vaccuum. Plus, the many other readouts not offered with the factory DIC menu. Also, I understand that your installation does not interfere with the steering wheel tilt and telescope travel limits. For now that is a win win package. Good work.
