It's 20 hrs from the northeast, BG that is. The amusement park would make it great for families. Not sure about an auto-x track though.

Know it's been beaten to death, but seriously need to discuss having 2 separate venues. Obvious reason it never seems to get large enough is due to area attendance. You'll never be able to please the West Coast, especially if you keep holding these events Arizona and to the East only. Should be enough sponsors/GM reps/vehicles to accommodate both locations, same w/ designated planning committees. I can only see attendance increasing in the future as area groups begin to nail down routine dates/destinations to hold these shindigs. Will it lose its magic, I don't think so. Camaro owners will pretty much flock to the nearest gathering....so give it a try.

..and if you can get contractual obligations say for 2+ years at the same venue, discounts and savings will probably apply.

No offence, but I made the trip to baytown 9000kms round trip. I was very disappointed with the turn out 700 aprox cars, very few vendors. If it wasn't for H-town it would have been a fail. anytime you pick extreme areas N/S/E/W its going to be hard for most. centralized area at least makes it fair. Just my two cents worth.
