Thanks for the info. I am loving both rim packages on the car! As well as the suspension package on it.

Fresh 416 Build....

Project Trilo-G is back on its feet after taking a short break for a "re-fresh" on the 416 build. Haven't had her out of the shop yet, but should be getting back out on the strip soon. Doesn't look much different from the outside, but here are some details on the internals that were used....

- LS3 Factory Block (bored .010" over)
- Lunati Crank w/ 4" stroke
- Lunati H-Beam Connecting Rods
- Wiseco Pistons (11:1 compression)
- Chrome Moly Hardened Pushrods
- Cadillac Racing Lifters
- Lingenfelter GT9 Cam
- Melling HV oil pump

Stock vs. Drag Suspension Package

Take a look at the difference between these two videos. The first one is completely stock suspension....pay close attention to all the sloppy fore/aft movement (counter-rotation) of the spindle. Then compare that to the second video after we installed the DRP007 Drag Race Suspension Package.....NO more unwanted movement.....even on an incredibly hard launch!!!! Pretty incredible difference!!!

Well, we attempted to get our car back out on the track this weekend at Bradenton. Unfortunately, it looks like we've reached the limit on our old Level 2 axles from G-Force. They have served us well for over 100+ 9.XX second runs, and we are pleased to see that they have lasted us beating on them this hard for as long as they have. Chris at G-Force is already working on a set of Level 5 axles for us now!!! Hey, at least we know the car is definitely hooking good!!!

Check out the video for actual footage of the outer axle snapping us!!!

After further investigation......looks like a very clean "shear" right where the axle meets the outer CV. Oh Well, stuff breaks!!! Especially after the continual abuse these axles have seen!!! Can't wait to get the upgraded LVL 5 axles from Chris!!!

Keith,

I sent Allan an email about our new hydro dipped axle coatings, we can do the new ones in a really neat red carbon fiber if he wants it. Tell him to take a look at the color sample I sent.

Here are what your getting with the newer Level 5 axles, the Level 5's are now standard in our 9" kits.
Back when we made your kit we still used the smaller 28 spline axles and sometimes made 30 spline on request.
We decided to step it up big time with our cnc machined billet 31 spline cv stars and big 31 spline axle bars. These things are massive!

The newer Level 5 Outlaw billet cv star is on the left, the standard 28 is on the right.

Here is our Level 5 Outlaw billet cv star next to the 30 spline cv stars that are also on the market.

And here are the axle bars.
On the left is a stock bar, then a 28 spline bar, a 30 spline bar and then our big 31 spline bar on the right. Compared to the other bars it's huge!

Looks Great Chris!!! Thanks for the info and pics! I will talk to Allan about the hydro-coating, but my guess is he will pass on it. We have been using G-Force Engineering products in Project Trilo-G ever since we started modding it, and we will continue to do so in the future. Kick @$$ products and superb customer service!!!! Thanks for your continued support Chris!!! Now, I just need to dig up some funds so that I can G-Force equip my own personal car!!!!
